Adoption is a design problem as much as a process problem.
People return to tools that reduce uncertainty. That means the best dashboards tend to answer a small set of questions very clearly:
- What changed?
- Is it good or bad?
- Who should care?
- What should happen next?
The rest of the surface should support those questions, not compete with them. That is why the most useful enterprise BI systems are often calmer than the team expected at kickoff.
Transfer is part of the build
Training should not be saved for the last Friday of the project. It belongs in the work from the moment a metric is named. When people understand the model, they ask better questions and trust the answers sooner.
